On World Mental Health Day – 10 October 2018 – we held an evening seminar ‘Food For Thought’ to highlight the critical role of nutrition in mental health.

With over 800 people in attendance, we heard perspectives from Sarah Wilson, Professor Julia Rucklidge and Ben Warren on how what we eat impacts our mental health. We also had Art Green as our amazing MC for the evening.

About Our Speakers.

PROF. JULIA RUCKLIDGE

Julia is a Professor of Clinical Psychology in the Department of Psychology and the Director of the Mental Health and Nutrition Research Group, running clinical trials investigating the role of broad-spectrum micronutrients in the expression of mental illness.

BEN WARREN

With over 15 years of experience, Ben Warren - founder of BePure - is one of New Zealand's leading nutritionists and holistic health experts.

SARAH WILSON

Sarah is a bestselling author and founder of IQuitSugar.com. Most recently, she published ‘First, We Make the Beast Beautiful, A New Story of Anxiety.’
